Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Each tool decodes your image with the browser's own image engine, edits it on an HTML canvas and creates the download locally. Nothing is sent to PanDev or anyone else, which also means there is no upload wait and no file size cap beyond what your device's memory can handle.
Which image formats are supported?
You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP in every modern browser, plus SVG in the converter, favicon generator and watermark logo slot. Exports are JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC/HEIF iPhone photos only open in Safari, because other browsers can't decode that format natively.
Can I edit many images at once?
Yes. The compressor, resizer, converter, watermark tool and EXIF remover all accept multiple files. You set the options once, every image is processed with the same settings, and you get a single ZIP download. The cropper, filters, color picker and meme maker work on one image at a time.
Do the image tools work on a phone?
Yes. They run in mobile Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and the cropper, color picker and comparison slider all respond to touch. Very large photos can be slow on older phones because all processing uses your device's memory and CPU rather than a server.
